Developmental Playgroups

Age Group: 12 – 24 months (possibly younger)

Koi Program

Age Group: 2-3 year olds
(Children born between 9/1/21 – 9/1/22 for 2024-2025 school year)

Our Koi program offers lots of open-ended play while incorporating guided structure and developmentally appropriate activities for 2 year olds. We support children’s social-emotional development by helping them to identify, understand, and manage their big feelings as they move from parallel play into cooperative play. A healthy snack is provided. 

Flying Fish Program

Age Group: 3-5 Years Old
(Children born before 9/1/21 for 2024-2025 school year)

Flying Fish is our half-day preschool program. Our play-based curriculum incorporates developmentally appropriate structure, emphasizing social-emotional learning and problem-solving alongside anti-bias education. Children are encouraged to follow their interests and deepen their understanding of the world through project-based learning. For children in their final year, kindergarten readiness is thoughtfully integrated into the curriculum. A healthy snack is provided. 

As part of our Flying Fish Program, we also offer optional Nature Days three a week. Nature Days are spent immersed in the outdoors in a small group (up to nine children with a 3:1 ratio of kids to adults). Extended, uninterrupted time in nature helps build confidence and self-esteem, as well as creativity, collaboration and a connection to the natural world.

Sessions: 9 am to 3 pm, 3-5 days/week, on-campus and Nature Day options
Early drop off (8:30am) available M-F, aftercare (4pm or 5pm pickup) available T-F

2024-2025 Tuition:
– 3 days/week: $975 / month ($252 Preschool For All tuition credit)
– 4 days/week: $1388 / month ($336 PFA tuition credit)
– 5 days/week: $1935 / month ($420 PFA tuition credit)

Scholarships available to SF residents

Class Size:  Up to 20 Children

Adult/Child Ratio:  1 to 5 or better on Campus / 1 to 3 or better on Nature Days
